how much is too much ?
quality time with bae !
By Tanaka | August 27, 2017

Imagine, of all things, Wonder Woman's greatest weakness is actually having her hands tied up by a man. *curses in feminism* Totally ridiculous right? Then again, is it really? You’ve just blown off another social engagement, that’s the third time this month, all because of “bae”
NEWS FLASH: Girl, You’re Tied Up!
We get it, those unexpected forehead kisses and his kryptonite cologne, they’re hard to resist. But, before you send that "come over" Whatsapp once again, you might want to take a few things into consideration:
Like, what about a little quality "Me" time? Are you taking care of your self? It's charming the way you finish each other's sentences but you're still your own person. When you lose sight of personal goals and aspirations, things you liked to do like yoga or even a little self-care, later down the line it'll make you sad. When you're unhappy, your relationship suffers. Take some time to focus on yourself so that you can grow into the woman you’ve envisioned for yourself. The woman he needs. In fact, allow him the same courtesy to recharge and do the things that will help him to be a better version of himself as well.
Perhaps you've been neglecting quality time with loved ones too?
These people were there before him and, god forbid; they will be there for you after he's out. Check in with your friends and family and make sure they're okay and feel your love too. How long has it been since you've bonded with your sisters? And those monthly GNOs! Be honest, when's the last time you've had so much fun!?
It's crazy how easily consumed we can become without even realizing it. Still, you know the saying "wah sweet yuh will rotten yuh teet." So, step away from all that sugar and get your mind right honey.
Go get your hair and nails done or read a book in solitude. Pour your heart out over a few glasses of wine with your bff so she can give you that pep talk you need to work your ass off and conquer that to-do list. Allow him to miss you. As a matter of fact, make sure he sees how much you value YOUR own time.
It was once said that the secret to happiness is having something to look forward to. In other words, it’s not always being available.
