Two Guys and a Unicorn !
Such an unlikely pairing but it's exactly how the magic began.
I met our two guys (Lyncs & Shane) in my favourite clothing store [ Lux Couture - Kings Plaza , Kingston]
At that time we were both working on Social Media campaigns ....myself doing a photo shoot/makeover special for Hair Honey while the guys were putting the finishing touches on Lux's Facebook Page. I'll admit I was in the early hippy stages of discovering the wonders of Facebook and thought I knew it all having garnered over 5K followers in a flash ...BUT...we'll just chalk that up to doing the wrong things right. They were young Mico Teacher's College soon to be grads that had the world infront of them mixed in with maturity and marketable skills in Social Media readiness.. We made an awesomely hilarious team.

Lyncs - the extremely pensive, structured, plans his day to the minute but takes 3 hours to do it, held us to deadlines and was definately the older wiser dad in the team. He made sure Shane the super creative, drummer, smiler, young chap with jewelry in his hair, only one that understood photoshop actually showed up for meetings. While myself.....I was the loud talking, calling all hours of the night with crazy ideas,unicorn with no horn, got the joke long after glue that held us together.We all came into this with Big dreams of our own and somehow made them into a subscription box.
As I write this blog im pausing minutely smiling at memories of scribblings and doodlings that were the creative geniuses of our vibe sessions. Our friendship grew organically and took us through many a last minute changes, mood swings and multiple sightings of Murphy's Law.
We manage to pull off the Debut box, the Christmas Edition and the Love Life Edition boxes as a team and even though we may now have gone seperate paths.....the drummer went on tour , Mr Planner went to clear his head thousands of miles away leaving me alone with the Accountant ( love her loads) ....I wouldn't trade our early days for anything or anyone.
